Schiatti Angelo Srl

Schiatti model TFV 200 vertical drilling/milling machine can operate independently or in line with other machines. The machine’s drilling capacity is 3 millimeters to 85 mm diameter, while milling shapes on glass in thicknesses of 3 mm to 19 mm. The machine is composed of three independent sections: entry conveyor; enclosed open top central chamber for glass processing; and exit conveyor. It is completely automated by the dedicated program installed in the internal PLC, which manages all the machine functions.

Mazzaroppi Engineering Srl

The TP Compact tempering machine can temper any type of flat glass, from reflective to screen-printed. Users are able to easily tweak parameters, such as glass thickness, during production. The system heats quickly, reaching an operating temperature of 680 degrees Celsius in 60 minutes when it is first switched on and in 30 minutes at each subsequent session. Additionally, TP Compact’s heating section is entirely managed by the company’s software, which independently regulates the zone in the furnace.

Glaston

Glaston’s advanced architectural glass TPS, Thermo Plastic Spacer, technology provides processors with end products to satisfy the toughest warm-edge demands. Insulating glass units made with TPS improve energy efficiency in buildings, increase durability and reduce energy costs. A major advantage of TPS is its production flexibility. Directly applying the Thermo Plastic Spacer onto the glass lite significantly simplifies the processes for IG manufacturers, as the entire production mix can be manufactured on one line.

LiteSentry

The Owl 4 Furnace Optimization System offers recipe selection, a load Validator and, new to the Owl 4, a missing part notifier. The system provides a check for losses in the furnace and communicates with an Osprey to confirm all parts in a load are present. If not, it will alarm the operator. Additionally, it collects data in real-time. The furnace recipe is defined, and heat time is optimized for the load as it enters the furnace.
