Tempering Haze Detection by Viprotron

Viprotron will showcase its new tempering haze detection product at GlassBuild America. The quality scanning device detects the common occurrence of white haze or roller abrasion micro-scratches in glass that may occur during the heat strengthening or tempering process. The device is positioned at the exit of the tempering furnace and, using darkfield light channel scanning technology, is able to detect this type of surface area defect and quantify it according to customer standards and requirements. Booth #845
